Halloween has grown into the nation’s 2nd most celebrated holiday, only taking a backseat to Christmas. Most churches advocate children dressing up, carving pumpkins and giving out candy. On the other side, this is a very important day to the occult.

Monday, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida is the most entrepreneurial state in the nation according to a recent study published by researchers at The Digital Project Manager. Florida has the highest percentage of the population that has started a business with 13,238 small businesses per 100,000 residents, which is 3,000 more small businesses per 100,000 residents than the second place state of Georgia.

Last week, Governor Ron DeSantis awarded more than $8.7 million to nine small and rural Florida communities through the Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for housing and community development activities. The Town of Mayo and the City of High Springs were among the nine.
